A new Welcome mural was unveiled at the Lyme-Old Lyme Middle School. Jasmine Oyola-Blumenthal, who is an alumna of Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts, is the lead artist of the mural which was sponsored by Public Art for Racial Justice Education (PARJE) and created in the school. The mural is part of PARJE's Sister Murals Project that utilizes the broad appeal of art and education to confront racial injustice.
