Lyme Old Lyme Middle School Student Poetry for Witness Stones Old Lyme

Seventh-grade students at Lyme Old Lyme Middle School responded to their research on enslaved residents of Lyme through poetry. Using Marilyn Nelson's Fortune’s Bones as inspiration, they wrote their own poems about the experience of enslavement. They read their poetry at the June 4 Installation Ceremony.
